Dining in TO Review - The Fish House

Today, I had the pleasure of dining at the Fish House which is located near the intersection of Hwy. 401 and Hwy. 404. The ambience was pleasant and bright and the overall feel of the venue was warm and inviting. My meal consisted of Coconut Tiger Shrimp, Seafood Angel Hair Pasta and a large cappucino to finish it off. For dining options North of the core, the Fish House offers a unique eating place that can rescue you from the mundane blah of chain restaurants that are so vast in the suburbs.

I found the service to be prompt and attentive. There was no long wait to be seated and they gave my party of 7 a great booth that was nicely tucked away.

The food was very tasty and served at the right temperature with nice presentation.

The prices were at par with other seafood restaurants in the area and the servings were nice and generous.

Overall, I would give the Fish House a 9 out of 10. While seafood may not suit everyone's tastes, those who enjoy it will not be disappointed. There are ample selections on the menu and I will certainly be making a return to this North York eatery to try the blackened tilapia and Boston platter. YUMMMY!
